THE LIFTOFF TEACHER’S GUIDE!
The Liftoff Teacher’s

The Liftoff experience is the collected knowledge needed to bring the

includes all standard subject areas and as well as a variety of dynamic
themes.

A Living Resource
The Liftoff Teacher’s Guide is a living resource. ETI considers
it just a beginning in the educational investigation of the Space Shuttle.
Many of the themes outlined in the Guide have not yet been explored. As
well there are many other themes relevant to the Shuttle which have not
even been listed. ETI considers its educational involvement with the Shuttle
as a living and growing project. New ideas, updates, further versions,
additional lessons, and new theme ideas will be posted at the Community
website.
Teacher Contributions
Lesson Plan contributions and ideas are invited from teachers. These contributions
will expand the themes and ideas currently offered in the Themes and Subjects
list and will be posted on the website for community viewing and use.
Further information in the form of overview, requirements, criteria and
template will be available at the Community website.
