ETI APPOINTS EDUCATORS TO IMPORTANT POSITIONS

ETI Entertainment Technologies Inc. is pleased to announce that Don Bergland PhD has been appointed Vice President, Education & Creative Services.
Dr. Bergland, an expert in the application of digital strategies in education, has developed various digital programs and learning courseware for a variety of school, university and industry situations.

Currently a professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Victoria, Don has worked and consulted for high profile clients such as Electronic Arts, the Multimedia Arts Centre, Royal Roads University, Bodwell Internet School and a variety of public schools and institutions in Canada. He is an accomplished artist and musician. His most recent book, "Exploring Multimedia CD-ROMS" in the Classroom, is currently being marketed across North America.

Dr. Bergland was responsible for the preparation of the Liftoff Teacher’s Guide.

ETI is also very pleased to announce that Sam Lim, President & CEO - Merit Learning, has agreed to sit on the Company’s Board of Educational Advisors.
Sam Lim is a successful educational leader and businessman. He was most recently President and CEO, Reality Based Learning Company and Director of Canada Publishing Corporation and Gage Learning Company.

A well-known executive with an extensive global network in education, he has been British Columbia Assistant Deputy Minister of Education and school district Chief Executive Officer. His management experience includes strategic planning and public communications. He was Canada’s representative at APEC Education Forum and has chaired the Pan Canadian Science Project and the Canadian government Learnware Working Group developing strategies for Internet content development for education. He has advised the Canadian Department of Industry and chaired the Host Committee for the World Education Market (WEMEX) held annually in Vancouver and Lisbon.

Dr. Lim holds graduate degrees from the University of Oregon and Brigham Young University.
